For five days, TNDM II will present over a dozen staged readings directed by both national and international directors, revealing unedited Portuguese texts, as well as classic texts from the theatre’s repertoire, to the general public. The festival’s guest of honour will be the Congolese choreographer and director Faustin Linyekula,  who will direct a series of staged readings of texts which have marked his artistic career and which will be interpreted by the TNDM II’s resident and intern actors. In addition to his collaboration with Portuguese actors, Faustin Linyekula will interpret one of these texts himself. Taking over the two stages, as well as other theatre’s spaces, this festival will be a unique opportunity for the public to let themselves be taken away by words. A lot of words. Some of them familiar and some of them unknown. Soothing or provocative. All of them read out aloud.

With Ana Água, Ana Tang, Ana Valente, João Grosso, José Neves, Lúcia Maria, Manuel Coelho, Marco Mendonça, Maria Amélia Matta, Paula Mora, Sandra Pereira, Victor Yovani.

Tickets: € 2.5 by session, € 20 all sessions
